Thanks, Julia, I appreciate it. I think healthy debate within the left is very important, but I agree with you that it shouldn't paralyze political action. Rather, our analyses should be a guide for action. The Repeal Coalition, for example, is now trying to organize middle class social service providers (social workers, DES workers, nurses, teachers, etc.) who are now being forced to snitch on anyone they know is undocumented. We're trying to develop alliances between this portion of the "virtuous middle" and the "rabble" to undermine the powerful nativist sentiment in Arizona.
